Since October 18, nothing could be the same as before, the normality and peace that is already called no longer exists, the situation has helped Chileans to open their eyes and empathize with others, although nothing has been gained, the situation has served to make visible problems and injustices of our country. And the experience after this awakening of the people has not been the same for everyone, some were injured and mutilated by state agents, others experienced human rights violations, many were sexually abused and some were forced to remember the horrors of the past and others who can never return to their homes, because this is how the Chilean state works, they try to destroy people. On the other hand, my experience was not so traumatic, but seeing others go through painful or extremely unfair situations filled me with anger and pain, fears for my life and that of my family. Javiera Ignacia Pizarro Eyzaguirre is a second year Chilean student of Social Work at the University of Chile. He took several social science firms for his professional training, for example, research methodology, philosophy, sociological theory, historical and political foundation of social work, among others.
